Wanderlust: Silver Lake

Hello once again here on my blog ( it feels a little bit awkward now! ) It's been a while since I hold a pen and a piece of paper doing a scratch if  what would be my post title and what to write on my next entry. As always, thinking of what title would be fit in every entry is more difficult for me than what to write. ^-^  Now i'm sitting in front of my lappy doing simple editing, Yay! to be honest i love doing it. he he  Oh I really miss this kind of  a hobby...

And yes! it is October.  A second "ber" month of the year meaning end of the first semester. No students, no show ( we consider it as our own show every time we meet our students ). No students, less stress. And No students but we still need to go in school to finish some grades and the rest was doing nothing. But the good news was, no week ends. That's why my colleagues in our department planned a one day trip and be a tourist. =)

Over there is a grape field.

And on this side you can see the place where we'll heading for. In that orange building.

Let's take a walk and figure it out the view that running on my mind the first time i step on this place..

First view that caught my attention was this old standby van with a letter : " S i l v e r l a k e "   on top of it that makes it unique.

So this is the entrance place the one that i mention a while ago.
From left: ( me, Ann our secretary in school/new found blogger, T. Aprille, T. Jen. T. Janet and T. Mary )

An epic group selfie, the one who took the picture is T.Mai aka John Lloyd. =D

So this is it. there's an entrance fee a hundred baht per head, then take a ride in this open window bus or a shuttle, actually i don't know what they call for this one.ha ha  silly me!.

Below: these are some photos that you can enjoy too when you visit this place.

Look at the dark clouds instead of me. he he

Free grape juice for everyone then throw the empty bottle in this wooden bin.
Unfortunately we never had a chance to reach this big stone or in a famous named Laser Buddha because of the bad weather.

And of course I will end up with my emo solo photos. =)

 Carpe Diem.

Is it a Double Celebration?

Yesterday was a Mother's Day Celebration and a month of  May is also her birth month so i guess its a double celebration though. So we went once again in Asiatique. If you still remember the first time i went there it was raining, good thing this time it wasn't. Well it's probably happier the second time around because we had enough time in window shopping and we enjoyed the view from the Riverfront. Hearing those splashed of waters while the boats are passing by are just like a music on my ears with a gentle breezed of air whispering me to keep calm. The weather yesterday was absolutely perfect.

As you noticed i did not dress up that much because most of my clothes are now in my new work place in Pattaya City and with respect to the celebrant hindi ko na sya " sinapawan " =D

Two thumbs up in this classy but affordable Restaurant. Seriously am so in love with the style.

And after a long time of walking around we finally bought something for ourselves ( The Necklace ).

Peculiar Beauty and Unique Style ( 12.13 )

So we had this tradition that before the year ends we dress up, doing our best pose, giving our best shots of smile and see it ended up the way we wanted. Actually we always do this during Sunday ( as usual church day is a free day for everyone )  and few days before Jasmine the one who's wearing stripes and I were excitedly planning what clothes we're going to wear and what pose are we doing this time, ha ha it's quite funny but we're always like that.
All Single Ladies?! Nah. One thing is for sure that we're ALL standing  in the same wall. he he

A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.

Bangkok Thai Ward.

Oh yes! Please meet our best translator every Sunday.  left: E.Simonson  right: E.Unsworth these two missionaries are the best. For those who don't know yet we were attending in a thai ward for the past few months meaning most of the members are purely speaks in thai ( So kamusta naman ako diba! ). That is why i am very grateful for their effort in translating everything. One time i asked my sister if how hard for them to translate it  in English especially when the speaker talk really fast. So we tried to translate a tagalog song in english and we found out that its really hard.Gosh! these two missionaries are super awesome!. And one more thing is they have a good voice, every time we're singing the hymns my voice stucked. ( in short nahiya  ang boses ko sa ganda ng boses nila he he )

This is sister Ardeth, Filipino ( wearing stripes ) and the other one is Thara, an investigator still a Bhuddies. I hope that soon  she'll be get baptised.

And this was our last picture before we had our vacation in the Philippines.
